Lake Almandor has a lot to offer fishermen, we troll for landlocked salmon and trout. When the hexfly hatch hits it’s the time to be on Almanor. The trout gorge themselves on these flies and are easy to catch. I also offer bowfishing trips on Almanor. The carp are big and are hard fighting fish. I offer day or night trips.

I bowfish for carp when water starts warming up, usually late April through August. I bowfish Lake Almanor, Black Butte Reservoir, and Oroville Afterbay. I supply all gear. All you need is a fishing license and sunscreen. You will have the time of your life.
